Insulated Verandah | Essendon, VIC

Following interior renovations, our dear customers in Essendon turned their attention to their yard. Knowing they wanted to enjoy their garden with friends and family (without worrying about the weather).

Meeting with our Melbourne design team, the goals were clear. Elegance and function were the two priorities. A verandah that added usable space and paved the way for future landscaping. The outdoor roof needed to complement the aesthetic of the home, without overpowering or dominating the garden.

Insulmax 55mm insulated roofing was chosen for its ability to protect against extreme temperatures. Naturelite inserts were used to provide plenty of natural light along the full depth of 3.5m metres. Spanning a width of 7m, the insulated panels allow for fewer supporting beams and posts than a similarly sized steel equivalent verandah. Needless to say, we can’t wait to see the project finished.
