Louvred Verandah | Mt Dandenong, VIC

Our lovely customers in Mount Dandenong Victoria spoke to our Melbourne team about bringing more of the outdoors in. Our team obliged and jumped at the chance to make the most of the generous deck space available.

With careful consideration of the home and surroundings, our team designed this stunning louvred verandah. Custom through-fascia brackets were designed to suit the vaulted internal ceilings. Spanning almost the entire width of the deck, the verandah measures 8m wide and 2.5m deep and provides plenty of cover.

During the warmer months, the louvres create plenty of shade for the oversized windows. In cooler months, the opening roof bathes the interior in natural light.

The 90mm square posts are finished in woodland grey and blend beautifully with the existing deck supports. The white gutters and louvres create a feeling of space and maximise natural light.

This project was a great example of how you can bring the outdoors in without losing touch with nature.
